How PrepCompare works

PrepCompare is an independent comparison directory of UK meal-prep, recipe-kit, frozen-meal and butcher-box providers. Visitors filter and compare providers by price per meal, protein, calories, diet and delivery, then click through to the provider's own website to order. We are not the seller and never take payment for meals.

How we earn

We intend to fund the site through affiliate partnerships. Where we have an active partnership with a provider, the click-through to that provider is an affiliate link: if you go on to sign up or order, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — you pay the same price either way.

Affiliate commission helps fund the running of the site. It does not change the factual information we show, and it does not let a provider buy a better rating or a more favourable position. We explain how results are ordered on our how we compare page.

How affiliate links are marked

When a partnership is active, affiliate links and calls-to-action are clearly identified and outbound links to partners use the appropriate rel="sponsored" markup, in line with UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA/CAP) guidance on clearly identifying paid links. Listing in our directory is editorial and independent of whether a provider has an affiliate programme — many providers we list have no affiliate relationship with us at all, and we earn nothing from those click-outs.
